ANTI-SLAVERY AND ANTI-TRAFFICKING STATEMENT

Anti-Slavery and Anti-Trafficking Statement

PreFancy Inc. owns and operates the website PreFancy (www.prefancy.com) ("PreFancy", "we", "us" or the "Company"), a subscription-based social platform that connects creators with their fans. PreFancy welcomes creators from all genres and helps them grow and earn from their work in line with our values.

PreFancy is committed to fighting modern slavery. We aim to build one of the safest creator platforms in the world, and we do not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in any form, whether on our platform, in our partnerships or in our supply chain.

This statement reflects our values and has been prepared with regard to international standards and laws on modern slavery, including the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018 and the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act. It sets out the steps PreFancy takes to help ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not take place in our business, partnerships or supply chain.

Our Commitment

PreFancy stands against all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking. Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes many forms, including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking. What they share is that one person takes away another person's freedom in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

We are committed to acting with integrity and to reducing the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in all our business dealings and in our relationships with creators and fans. We are also committed to treating our team members, partners and vendors with respect and dignity, providing safe working conditions and operating ethically and responsibly.

Steps We Take to Prevent, Detect and Report Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

  • Requiring identity and age verification before any user can earn money as a creator;

  • Setting clear policies on acceptable business practices and ethical conduct for everyone who works with us;

  • Reviewing our suppliers and service providers to identify and reduce the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking;

  • Continuously improving our content moderation tools and processes;

  • Giving every user a simple way to report content and accounts; and

  • Cooperating with law enforcement and relevant organisations that fight modern slavery and human trafficking.

Our Policies

PreFancy is committed to taking all reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure that no modern slavery or human trafficking takes place on our platform, in our business or in our supply chain.

  • We expect everyone who works with us to act with integrity, use good judgment and comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, including those relating to modern slavery and human trafficking. We share these expectations with our key suppliers and contractors.

  • This statement sets out our overall commitment to combating modern slavery and human trafficking, the practical steps we take to reduce these risks, and how to report any suspected case.

  • Our Terms of Use prohibit uploading, posting, displaying or publishing any Content on PreFancy that:

    • shows, includes or refers to any other person, unless that person is at least 18 years old and has given their written consent;

    • involves any person under 18 years old;

    • was created or shared without the consent of everyone involved; or

    • shows, promotes, advertises or refers to escort services, sex trafficking, prostitution or any form of human exploitation.

We hold our team members and suppliers to high standards. Any breach of these standards by a team member may lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Any breach by a supplier may lead to termination of our contract with them.

Our Risk Assessment

We regularly assess the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business by identifying and reviewing higher-risk areas. Our assessment takes into account external reports and standards as well as country and sector risk profiles, and we adjust our processes and controls as risks change.

Our direct business operations. We consider the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our direct operations to be relatively low, as our team is made up mainly of skilled professionals. Where we work with contractors in higher-risk regions, we make sure they understand these risks, our position on them, and how to report any concerns.

Our platform and supply chain.

  • Creator Content. As with all social media platforms, there is a risk that users may try to upload exploitative material that breaks the law or our policies.

  • Contractors and third parties. We may use contractors and third-party providers to help with services such as identity verification, payments, hosting and content moderation. These providers could breach the law or our policies.

How We Reduce These Risks

Creator verification. Before a user can earn money as a creator, they must pass our identity verification, including submitting a valid government-issued ID and photos of themselves. We check that the person matches their identity documents and that payout details belong to the verified account holder, so that creators can only open an account for themselves and receive their earnings directly. We may ask for further verification at any time, including when an account is flagged for review.

Content moderation. We review content uploaded to PreFancy using a combination of technology and human moderators, and we remove, and report where required, any content that suggests or facilitates the exploitation of any person, including modern slavery and human trafficking. Posts can be held for approval before they are published, and we can review and remove any content on PreFancy at any time, including content shared in direct messages. PreFancy does not use end-to-end encryption, and there are no hidden areas of the platform that are beyond the reach of our moderation team. Our moderators are instructed to identify and immediately escalate any content that may indicate modern slavery or human trafficking.

Contractors and service providers. Where appropriate, we require contractors and service providers to comply with applicable laws and with our policies against modern slavery and human trafficking. We also make sure our team is aware of these issues and knows how to report concerns.

Community reporting. Every post and account on PreFancy has a report option. All reports are reviewed by our team. If you see content on PreFancy suggesting that someone is in immediate danger or is a victim of human trafficking, please report it to us straight away at [email protected] and contact your local police or emergency services.

Assisting law enforcement. If we identify content showing signs of modern slavery or human trafficking, we immediately suspend the related account and share the relevant information with law enforcement and appropriate organisations to help identify those responsible. Where child sexual abuse material is detected, we report it to the relevant authorities, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Continuous investment. We continue to invest in tools, people and processes that help us detect and prevent human exploitation on our platform, and to stop bad actors from using our services at any stage.

How to Report a Concern

We encourage a culture of transparency, honesty and accountability, and we encourage anyone, including our team, creators, fans and partners, to report any concern or wrongdoing, including human rights abuses, modern slavery or human trafficking.

If you have a concern or suspect a breach of the law by PreFancy, its team, contractors or anyone doing business on our behalf, please contact us:

All reports are treated seriously and confidentially. If a concern relates to a supplier or contractor, we will work with the relevant parties to investigate and address it. If a concern is confirmed, we will take corrective action, up to and including ending the relationship. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith.

Our Ongoing Commitment

Modern slavery and human trafficking are complex challenges for every business. Our efforts to combat them are ongoing and continually improving, and we will communicate our approach throughout our business and to our suppliers, both at the start of each relationship and on an ongoing basis.

We will continue to take the following steps, in proportion to the risks faced by PreFancy:

  • identify and assess any further risk areas in our business or supply chain;

  • reduce the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking occurring in our business or supply chain;

  • protect whistleblowers and take appropriate remedial action when needed;

  • stay up to date with changes to relevant laws on modern slavery and human trafficking; and

  • monitor risk areas and possible solutions to keep our team, users and partners safe.

Our leadership team has overall responsibility for making sure that everyone under our control complies with this statement and our related policies. Managers at every level are responsible for making sure their teams understand and follow this statement. Questions about this statement can be sent to [email protected].
